I provide expert comment to the media about a range of issues – centring on trauma and specifically about the experience of loss when someone is missing. I am a subject matter expert given the focus of my Doctoral study and my clinical skills in ambiguous loss, as well as a consultant for The Missed Foundation.
I use an evidence based approach to sharing the stories that might resonate with readers – working on both sides, as a freelance writer and as a researcher/mental health clinician I understand the power of a strong narrative.
In a consultancy role I assist with state and national evaluations of programs and activities in the suicide prevention, trauma, grief and distress space.
